Udemy launched a new generative AI feature that helps to create hyper-personalized upskilling education for workforces. Authors partnered with Udemy to distill and humanize the message, ultimately creating an accessible product video with personality through compelling animation and VO.
Mastering the Fine Line
Crafting a product video that’s both tech-savvy and on-brand was Udemy’s goal. Our task? Weaving the intricate technicalities of an AI feature in the making into an attention-grabbing narrative. We wanted to take people through a product-like demo while bouncing between real UI elements and some abstracted UI experience to immerse people back into the story. Collaborating seamlessly across product, brand, and design teams, we ensured that everyone’s input was incorporated into the creative process.
Frame by Frame
While we love AI technology, there’s nothing quite like the dynamic energy of hand-drawn animations. Despite being pressed for time, our in-house hand animators worked their magic, breathing life into the brand characters. Though it’s a labor-intensive process (and time was scarce), the results are always worth it, infusing each piece with an unmatched level of enchantment.
